All of Alpha Phi’s Philanthropic endeavors strive to raise money and awareness about the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Alpha Phi hosted their inaugural Red Dress Gala on October 9, 2009. It was a beautiful evening of dinner, dancing, and bidding as the Alpha Phis presented their new members and supported an excellent cause! We had over 600 guests attend including the campus, parents, alumni, and the greater Norman and Oklahoma City communities. Our fundraising efforts paid off, and in the end we were able to raise an amazing $20,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation.
We look forward to hosting this year’s Red Dress Gala and hope you’ll join us. This year, the Red Dress Gala will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. For more information including ticket sales, how to contribute and event details, please contact Kathy Killeavy at mkkilleavy@ou.edu.
As for on campus activities, we hosted our 4th Annual Fries with Phi in 2010 - it was an enormous success once again! We welcomed our fellow students over to the Alpha Phi house for a late night snack.
Along with Philanthropy, Service is a cornerstone of our organization. Through giving back to the Norman community, we better ourselves and the town we call home. Some of the organizations we volunteer with include:

- Big Brothers/Big Sisters
- Arbor Day
- Adopt-An-Area on Campus
- Shack-A-Thon
- Second Chance Animal Shelter
- Food Drives for Food and Shelter for Friends
