Who can provide better recommendations for a potential member than an Alpha Phi herself?

With the goal of placing more women in the Greek community and enabling more sorority chapters to attain quota, the National Panhellenic Conference has updated their methods associated with calculating quota and the number of invitations each sorority may extend any given round.

Our chapters may be required to release more women earlier in recruitment and the need for reference forms is even more crucial. Chapters must identify quality potential new members, and alumnae can help!

Please recognize that it is the chapter’s responsibility to make selections that best match the needs of the chapter. Because they may have fewer invitations to give, there could be situations where women with references may not receive a courtesy invitation.

Please fill out a reference form, found at www.alphaphi.org, for any potential new member you wish to recommend for membership into Alpha Phi. Send the form before recruitment begins and if possible, attach a picture and resume of the potential new member. If the potential new member is a legacy of Alpha Phi (Granddaughter, Daughter or Sister), remember to mark the Legacy box on the form.
